Fun With Ribbon

Description

Ok, so I haven't done an emote in a while due to the fact I've been Chibi-ing a lot recently.

I used a base from `krissi001's base pack for this, thanks Krissi!

Mini contest: I thought of 3 things before I gave him a ribbon. First person to guess the first 3 things I thought of wins some points.

I like the idea of this, the emote is cute and the animation is relatively smooth. There are a couple of things that stand out to me though.

The main thing that really stood out to me was the ribbon. As neat as the bouncing of the emote is, the ribbon seems to be a bit.. rough. I think if you revised the smoothness and maybe even the impact of the bounce on the ribbon, it could really improve the overall effect of the emote as a whole. Because to me, as it is now it just looks like the emote is jumping with a strand of flexible wire of a pipe cleaner.

The second thing I found a bit awkward was the shadow. It looks great while the emote is in mid air, but I think it slightly 'engulfs' the emote when it hits the ground if that makes sense. Maybe if you have a play around with it a little you'll see what happens.

Overall I think this is a good emote, nice job!
